They work very well together. Those blue hues are fantastic and the ever so slight diagonal of the bolt is the icing on the cake.
The blue colouring is great, and the rugged and modern background contrast so well with the more traditional angel sculpture and then the very earthy undertones of the roots binding her to the earth. Great juxtaposition of ideas!
